Datenschutzerklärung für die Anwendung "Ads Analyse" (deutsche Zusammenfassung am Ende)
Last updated: 22 October 2026. This policy is public and can be read without signing in. Application home page: https://ballettstore24.de/pages/ads-analyse
1. Controller and contact
Tim Regener (sole proprietor), Hermann-Höper-Ring 12, 29336 Nienhagen, Germany. E-mail: intern@ballettstore24.de. "Ads Analyse" is a private reporting tool that is used only by its operator, Tim Regener, for the online shops he owns (ballettstore24.de, tanzsport24.eu, inkohaus.de). The application has no other users, no registration and no customer accounts.
2. Data accessed: which Google user data the application accesses
When the operator signs in with his own Google account and grants consent (OAuth 2.0), the application receives access to data of the operator's own Google accounts and properties only. The following scopes are requested:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords (Google Ads): account and campaign structure, campaign names and settings, budgets, bids, listing groups and product selections, ad assets, plus performance metrics (cost, clicks, impressions, conversions, conversion value). The application also creates and modifies campaigns, budgets, bids and product selections in the operator's own Google Ads accounts.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/content (Google Merchant Center): product data of the operator's own merchant accounts (title, price, availability, brand, product identifiers) and the approval status of these products.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly (Google Search Console): search queries, clicks, impressions, average position and landing pages of the operator's own websites. Read-only.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly (Google Analytics 4): sessions, purchases, revenue, traffic sources and product-level performance of the operator's own websites. Read-only.
The application does not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, location data, or the personal data of any other Google user. The figures retrieved are business metrics (aggregated numbers per campaign, product, query or day); they are not profiles of individuals.
3. Data usage: how and why the data is used
- To create weekly performance reports for the operator's three shops.
- To calculate the profitability of advertising (for example return on ad spend compared with the break-even value of each product group).
- To prepare optimisation suggestions (for example which products to promote or exclude, bid and budget changes, search-engine optimisation of the shops' pages).
- To carry out changes that the operator approved in his own Google Ads accounts (creating campaigns, setting budgets and bids, excluding products).
The data is not used for any other purpose. It is not used for advertising to anyone, not for profiling, and not for credit, lending or insurance decisions. It is not sold.
4. Data sharing and transfers
Google user data is not sold, rented or shared with third parties. To prepare the reports, the operator uses an AI assistant (Claude by Anthropic) as a tool. Aggregated figures from the operator's own accounts are shown to this assistant only so that it can analyse them for the operator. Google user data is not used to develop, improve or train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Apart from this, Google user data is not transferred to anyone, except where required by applicable law, to protect against fraud or abuse, or as part of a legal process.
5. Data storage and protection
Retrieved data is stored only as report and table files (for example CSV and Markdown files) in a project folder on the operator's own computer. OAuth credentials (the refresh token and client secret) are stored in a local configuration file that is readable only by the operator's user account and is never published or uploaded. There is no external database, no web server and no cloud storage that holds Google user data. Access to the computer is protected by the operator's device login. Data in transit between the application and Google is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS).
6. Data retention and deletion
Reports and tables are kept for as long as the operator needs them for his own business analysis and are deleted from the computer when no longer needed. If the operator revokes the application's access to his Google account, all locally stored files containing data retrieved from Google are deleted within 30 days. The operator can revoke access at any time under Google Account → Security → Third-party access and can delete the stored files himself at any time. Requests regarding deletion or information can also be sent to intern@ballettstore24.de; we will respond within 30 days.
7. Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use
Ads Analyse's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular: the application uses Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above; it does not transfer the data to others except as described in section 4; it does not use the data for serving advertisements; and no humans read the data except the operator himself for his own analysis.
8. Your rights
Because the application processes only the operator's own business data, no data of third parties is collected. If you believe that data concerning you is nevertheless affected, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection under the GDPR. Contact: intern@ballettstore24.de. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Lower Saxony: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how the application uses Google user data, we will update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
